Comments (English): First I must say that I doubted the pictures could be accurate - surely the place couldn't be all that was promised. Well, it was all they promise and more. First glimpse of Bettona, set high in the sky - a jewel of a medieval village. Then the realization that Casa Foresti IS set in the wall of this magical place - the ceilings are graceful arches, the artwork is exceptional, the rooms spacious. A private little patio with a romantic table where we sat with our Montefalco wine, meats & cheeses from Nurcia, and listened to the birds as we watched the sunset. You can spend a day wine tasting, or exploring the hill towns - everything is close! And yet you'll be pleased to return "home." Every room had some charming note. The garden gate leads down a lovely little path to the door, framed with a grapevine. And right next door? The town park with spectacular views over the valley. A bedroom with a large bed (my 6'3" husband loved it!) and another room with two singles, two bathrooms, one with a washing machine. A kitchen to prepare meals - two dining tables, a living room with a cozy wood stove, wi-fi, TV. Have I said enough? Can't imagine ever coming to Umbria & not staying here!
